Hey! Do you want to travel with me?

Réjane, a friend I met 5 years earlier (February 2010) during my internship in Montréal (Canada), asked me if I wanted to visit Scotland. We had kept in touch since Montréal but never managed to meet in France. I was surprised — and glad she proposed this trip. We planned the route together and decided to rent a car to stay flexible.

We used CouchSurfing to meet people and be hosted some nights!

Lots of cities in 10 days!

We started in Lyon (France) on the 22nd of July 2015 and finished in Edinburgh on the 1st of August. The weather changed every hour — sun, wind, rain, wind, rain, rain… between 5°C and 16°C while France was around 38°C ;)

People are very friendly

Every time we went to a pub, everybody was very friendly. We all talked together and shared our stories, drank cider and beer, listened to local music. The landscapes were beautiful, we watched the Highland games in Lochearnhead — and I loved the Highland cows!
